Updates

Updates FALL 2009

LEAGUE MATCHES

With forfeits becoming an issue, teams requesting to reschedule a league match will be penailzed 2 points automatically, and that match will be required to be scheduled and played in a two week time frame.  The onus is on the team rescxheduling to make sure it happens.  If it doesn't, the match will be recorded as a forfeit and an addition 5 points will be deducted.  Of course, special circumstances will take priority as usual, but this is to deter teams from postponing matches instead of using their sub players.

LENGTH OF SEASONS

With 8 team divisions, a 14 week season works best.  I will also host a league tournament midway thru the season.

PLAYOFF FORMAT

13 point divisional playoff emilination matches and a 25 point division championship match.

TEAM PLAYOFF ELIGIBILITY

With 8 team divisions, the top 6 teams in each division will qualify for the playoffs.

PLAYER PLAYOFF ELIGIBILITY

A player must play 1/2 of the league games to be eligible for league awards and  also to be playoff eligible.  A 14 week season means 56 total games, so for someone to qualify, they will need to play at least 28 games during the season.  No exceptions.

ROSTERS

Rosters will remain open until the 2nd week of the season.  Players added to rosters are still required to play in 1/2 the league games to be playoff eligible.

LEAGUE FEES

League fees and rosters must be submitted prior to any team being added to a season's schedule, starting in the Fall 2009.  Cutoff dates will be posted.

ALL STAR POINTS

B3's, will no longer count towards All Star Points!

ROSTERS

Players can be replaced on a teams roster up until week 4, with the approval of the other teams in your division.

TIEBREAKER FORMAT

The tiebreaker format will remain as 6 player 1001, fly in, double out for Mondays and Tuesdays, and 4 player 801, fly in, double out for Thursdays.
